Amenities
Many activities are available including relaxing on the beach or dock or in a hammock on the deck or crow's nest; fishing from the dock or beach; walking the famous sidewalk to shop or dine. Local guides are available who can provide day trips to Monkey River to observe wildlife such as howler monkeys, birds and crocodiles. Day or half-day trips can be arranged to snorkel or dive the wonderful waters near Placencia. Fishing guides are noted for fabulous permit, bonefish and tarpon fishing. You can also tour the jungle, Mayan ruins and float the rivers of the mainland.  Rental cars are available in Placencia. An excellent day sailing company is located on the canal.
Activities
The lodge has two large bedrooms with a queen-size bed in each and a full bath with hot shower adjoining each one. The sleeping loft has two twin beds and all linens are provided. A large living room with cable TV and DVD player and full kitchen with all cooking utensils are available. The beautiful hardwoods of Belize are utilized throughout the house.  The lodge is locally managed and a caretaker lives in the bottom of the house and is a great source for information.
